Tools

The small toolbar tools help you do certain actions faster.

• The Arrow tool is the generic do-it-all default tool. Use it for selecting, resizing, moving etc.

• The Push Track pushes the selected part and all after or before it. Use it to move the entire track. Hold down Control to reverse the effect.
• The Push Sequence tool is similar to the Push Track, but it applies to all tracks.

• The Multiply tool multiplies the dragging part.
• The Eraser tool erases all clicked parts.

• The Blade tool splits splittable parts.
• The Gap Join tool joins joinable parts, keeping gaps.
• The NoGap Join tool joins joinable parts without keeping gaps.

• The Ungap left tool removes the clicked part left-side gap.
• The Ungap right tool removes the clicked part right-side gap.
• The Ungap both tool extends extendable parts to fill the gaps.

• The Selection tools are used to apply filter masks. For more, see the Mask Editor.

• The Drawing tools are used to draw on video parts. For more, see the Drawing Editor.

• The Free Transform tool applies 2D or 3D transforms to video parts (image, video, 3d , animation, text)
• The Scaling tool scales video parts
• The Rotating tool rotates video parts

• The Crop tool crops video parts
• The Straighten tool straighens video parts
