One yacht. Ten guests. A host who will never reach port alive.
Mediterranean Sea · October 1927
A private yacht sets out under a perfect sky. By dawn its owner lies dead below deck,
and every passenger has a reason to lie. You are the only investigator aboard — and the
only person who cannot leave until the truth surfaces.
Cruise for a Corpse is a FREE, modern point-and-click fan remake of the 1991 Delphine Software's game, with a different plot, different murderers, 4 different scenarios and 15 puzzles to solve.
Roam every deck, cabin and salon of a fully explorable Art-Deco yacht.
Question a ship full of suspects, each with alibis, secrets and grudges.
Collect clues, cross-check testimony and build the case piece by piece.
AI-assisted scenes evoking 1920s luxury at sea.
From easy to difficult, solve 15 fresh puzzles along the interrogation.
In addition to the original game's ending, three more ending scenarios.
A period soundtrack of strings and brass beneath the intrigue.
Built with Unity, Adventure Creator and Turbo Play.
“Ten people boarded this yacht as friends. One of them is a murderer. Nobody sails home until I know which — and the sea has all the time in the world.” — The Investigator's Log

Your only fare is the truth.
I've been a passionate adventure-game player since 1990, but for years I had no way to make my own. I'm a seasoned low-level C++ audio, image and video developer — not a graphics or animation artist — and I always dreamed of remaking the classics I grew up on: Laura Bow, Shadow of the Comet, and yes, Cruise for a Corpse.
The combined power of Unity, Adventure Creator and the AI tooling I've built into Turbo Play finally made it possible. This remake is my love letter to a golden age of mystery — and an invitation to step aboard one more time.
